Create Magazine, the magazine that features local creative leaders that have a perspective on the trends that affect creative production in the area, introduced Florida Atlantic University’s Center of  Electronic Communication in their Spring 2006 edition.  The Center was touted as easily accessible, affordable and a stepping stone to achieve those jobs from Disney, Electronic Arts and other sought-after companies in places such as L.A, , Seattle, Orlando and even China..  FAU Associate Director Francis McAfee stated in the article;  “We’re definitely one of the few public institutions that offer the program, so it’s the best deal you’re going to get in the state of Florida."  Artwork that came from the center was shown in the article.  In Blind Faith, the picture of a crusader done in Maya was created by Sean Novak, a masters student in computer animation and employee of FAU.
